The Emo Era

EMO

Nowadays, it is somehow common to see people wearing black with long bangs and eyeliners on the streets or even in your own family. Let's face it, the emo culture has evolved into a fast growing "virus" affecting the youth today.

In my point of view, i dont see anything wrong with being too emotional and expressing it through music and lifestyle. I think it is a courageous act to freely be in touch with your emotions. What i dont like about this Emo stuff is that it has become a trend. It has become too popular that almost everyone rides with it. Sometimes i can even see children from about 5 to 7 years old in emo fashion, jumping up and down the moshpit of a live rock concert. I just can't stand that a kid, that should be playing at the playground and licking ice creams is worrying about his broken life and listening to songs about lost lovers and tragic deaths of girlfriends.

I am not against emo, i am just concerned about the helpless persons who does not and should not be infected by the "virus". Anyway, all i can do is talk here, its all up to the people to choose what they want to be. Peace Out.

Here's another opinion on emo
